Sweet Basil Celebrant and Styling
About Our Services
At Sweet Basil Celebrant & Styling, we offer two separate services:
Marriage Celebrancy – legal ceremonies and personalised vows.
Wedding Styling – optional décor, ceremony setups, and design packages.
These services are completely independent. Couples may:
book only a celebrant service,
book only a styling package,
or choose to combine both if they wish.
We are transparent in all contracts and proposals that celebrancy and styling are offered separately, with separate contracts and invoices. Couples are free to use any stylist, celebrant, or supplier of their choice, and there is no obligation to engage both services together.
Our priority is that you feel supported and free to design your day in the way that best suits you.
Bookings & Payments
A $100 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date.
Final balances are due 14 days prior to your ceremony or event.
Photo/video packages may require a separate booking fee.
Quotes are valid for 30 days and may reflect seasonal or wholesale pricing changes.
Other vendors invoices will be sent separately and have their own booking deposits

6-hour exclusive venue hire at Caves Beach Surf Club (bottom level + outdoor seating)
On-the-day event coordination
Celebrant services
Master of Ceremonies (MC)
Ceremony styling setup & pack down
Venue styling with timber picnic/bar tables, signage, vases, styling items
Photographer (elopement package – 30 mins + same-day edit)
Bridal bouquet + coordinating florals (styles tailored to your colour scheme)
Custom wedding cake (gluten-free by Goody Goodness – 6", 8" or 10" based on package)
Wedding invitations (digital design + print-ready files)

Optional bar tab or cash bar
Email support throughout your planning journey
Celebrant-Only Packages
Designed for intimate and large scale weddings
Custom-written, legally binding ceremony
All legal paperwork lodged on your behalf
Personalised script and vow assistance
High-quality PA system provided (for ceremony only)
Optional rehearsal (by request)
MC services are exclusive to the All-Inclusive Package and not included in Celebrant-only services.
Styling-Only Packages
For couples who want the look without the stress:
Full ceremony styling: setup and pack down
Venue styling
Bespoke floral coordination
Arbours, backdrops, and feature décor
Customised design plan tailored to your vision and colour scheme
Refunds & Cancellations
All booking fees are non-refundable.
If cancelled within 14 days of the event, full payment is retained.
With 30+ days’ notice, partial refunds may be issued (excluding booking fee).
In the event of illness/emergency, a qualified replacement celebrant or stylist will be arranged, or a full refund provided.
Weather & Emergencies
Wet weather plans should be pre-arranged and discussed during planning.
In cases of natural disaster or government restrictions, we’ll work with you to reschedule at no extra cost, subject to availability.
Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate event details including guest count, preferences, and access times.
Ensure any DIY or third-party elements are discussed and approved prior to the day.
Catering is not included but recommendations will be provided.

Lake Mac Wedding Trail Giveaway – Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
This promotion is conducted by Sweet Basil Celebrant & Styling ABN - 48753182747, located in New South Wales, Australia (“the Promoter”).
All other participating vendors are referred to as Prize Suppliers.

2. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
Entrants must hold a valid public Instagram account.
Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and Prize Suppliers are not eligible to enter.
Multiple entries are permitted only as specified in the official giveaway post.
This is a Game of Chance, and the outcome will be determined randomly.
3. Promotional Period
The promotion commences 5 November 2025 at 7:30 PM AEDT and closes 18 December 2025 at 11:59 PM AEDT.
The prize draw will occur on 19 December 2025 at 10:00 AM AEDT, using certified random draw software.
The winner will be notified by Instagram direct message from @sweetbasil_celebrant within two (2) business days.
The winner’s initials and suburb will be published on sweetbasilcelebrant.com.au within five (5) business days of the draw.
4. How to Enter
To enter the competition:
Follow all vendors listed in the official giveaway caption.

Tag one friend or partner in the comments.
Bonus entry: Share this post to your Instagram story and tag both @sweetbasil_celebrant and @timelessbynate.
This promotion is a Game of Chance — entries are not judged on merit or creativity.
5. Prize Details
Engagement ring valued at $5,000.00 AUD from Lake Mac Jewellers.
Proposal styling valued at $650.00 AUD from Sweet Basil Celebrant & Styling.
Proposal photography valued at $580.00 AUD from Timeless by Nate.
Total prize value: $6,200.00 AUD.
(No “approximately” wording — exact values are provided as required by NSW law.)
If any part of the prize becomes unavailable, a replacement prize of equal or greater value will be substituted at the Promoter’s discretion. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
6. Prize Redemption and Claim Period
The proposal experience will occur on a mutually agreed date between the winner and Prize Suppliers, to be redeemed by 14 February 2026.
The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize within 3 months of being notified.
If the prize remains unclaimed after this period, an Unclaimed Prize Draw will be conducted on 19 March 2026, using the same random software and publication process.
7. Publicity and Use of Content
By accepting the prize, the winner grants the Promoter and Prize Suppliers a limited, 24-month licence to use names, photos, and video content created during the proposal event solely for promotion of this competition and related marketing.
The licence is non-exclusive and royalty-free.
Moral rights of the winner will be respected, and all uses will be in good faith and contextually appropriate.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter and Prize Suppliers will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained in connection with this promotion or the acceptance of any prize.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded, including non-excludable consumer guarantees.
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram.
9. Privacy Collection and Use
By entering this competition, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by the Promoter and Prize Suppliers for:
administration of this promotion, and
marketing and promotional purposes of all participating vendors.
Information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Sweet Basil Celebrant & Styling Privacy Policy, available at sweetbasilcelebrant.com.au/privacy-policy.
